Fund-It is an opportunity for donors to help Pius X High School fulfill our mission. Through Fund-It, you are invited to propose an activity or resource for your students. The purpose of this opportunity is to allow you to plan, develop, and implement innovative programs and create learning opportunities for which funds are not covered by the school budget. It is the hope of Pius X administration and the Foundation that this effort will give you additional opportunities to help students grow, learn, and increase student achievement.

After you submit a proposal, the Pius X principal and development director will work together to verify the proposal, confirm the need, and to approve the budget. The Pius X Foundation and the Pius X High School administration will review all proposals to ensure that each fulfills the mission and goals of our school. Both the Foundation and the administration work diligently to ensure sound fiscal responsibility of our donors’ stewardship.

Seven percent will automatically be added to your proposal. These funds will go directly to the Foundation to support this program, including website management, program costs, marketing, photo development, donor appreciation, and general staff support.

Description:

The description portion of the proposal should include:

A description of the proposed program that includes clear indication as to how the proposed program will enhance and enrich the underlying educational program provided by the district.
Information as to how many students will be involved in the program.
If applicable, how student leadership, character, community involvement, respect for others and other life skills are to be developed as part of the proposed program.
Information as to other known sources of funding available to underwrite a portion of the cost of the proposed program.
The plan for evaluating the success of the proposed program, to include the type of data that will be gathered throughout the program.
